Castaway Insider: The 31 Bertram outperformed and outran all other vessels in the Miami to Nassau, Bahamas race in 1960 in this well known Ray Hunt designed deep vee. She was offered with several configurations and production was ended with approximately 2000 being made. The last year of a limited "anniversary" production was in 1986 with only 23 being produced. This is a constantly sought after vessel so resale values are strong. Many have been totally refitted and bring high dollars if done professionally and correctly.
